Based in Kent, Malloy has been fishing  since he was a young lad, and can be seen out most weeks around his local public waters preferring to fish coastal gravel pits, canals and drains in search of old, rarely fished specimens.

One of his most memorable moments is from when he was younger, trying to fish waters for anything of specimen size, often landing a variety from gudgeon right through to carp, and everything in between.

For Malloy the time spent testing ingredients and creating new recipes is as important to him as the time spent on the bank.  He will often spend hours learning the ins and outs of different ingredients, to help him create a first-class bait.
